As the Marketing Manager joining bookaball, you’ll be the first all-round marketing professional fully dedicated to steering our brand’s success. In this vital role, you’ll partner closely with our in-house SEO/SEA specialist, aligning marketing strategies and campaigns to ensure maximum reach and effectiveness. Together, you’ll drive data-driven decision-making, combine expertise in content creation with performance marketing insights, and ensure that our brand message is consistent and impactful across all channels. Regular meetings, project collaboration, and a shared vision for bookaball’s success will make this a productive and engaging partnership. 

Your role will be fundamental in designing and executing our product marketing strategy. Tasked with creating engaging and efficient marketing campaigns, you’ll boost our platform’s brand visibility and support in expanding our clientele. Your creativity and attention to detail will ensure our messaging resonates effectively with our target market. Collaborating with the team, you’ll contribute substantially to our growth objectives.

Your responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement marketing strategies to raise product awareness.
  • Develop compelling marketing campaigns and content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Monitor industry trends and user interactions to optimise our marketing approach.
  • Oversee our social media platforms, website, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our SEA/SEO specialist in order to analyse results, base decisions on insightful data and set key priorities.

Your profile

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar field.
  • Demonstrated experience in product marketing and strategic marketing planning.
  • Outstanding proficiency in both Dutch and English. Other languages are a plus.
  • You are creative, results-driven and able to work autonomously.
  • Affinity with sports is a must.

Skillset

  • Proficient in creating engaging written and visual b2b content.
  • Extensive experience in leveraging social media (mostly LinkedIn) for business growth.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful b2b social media strategies.
  • Skilled in managing and executing b2b email campaigns (experience with ActiveCampaign is a plus).
  • Familiarity with updating and maintaining websites (experience with CloudCannon is a plus).
